Earth, Sea & Heat is our private wood-fired sauna retreat, exclusively for Greenshutters guests, bringing together clean sea air, natural surroundings and slow, restorative warmth. Perfect after a coastal walk or sea swim, it adds a calm, grounding ritual to your stay — especially in the cooler months.
Greenshutters stands on the site of our former beach chalet, which weathered this spot from 1929 until 2012. In its place, architect Garth and his son Paul Carroll designed a contemporary beach house built to Passive House standards, using predominantly local materials and services.
Before arrival, guests receive a detailed house manual with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including our favourite local places to eat, explore and enjoy. Our 5-star reviews speak for themselves, with many guests returning again and again to this spectacular stretch of coastline.
