Best Winter Walks

A winter walk to St. Govan's Head is a magical experience

Starting at the National Trust car park near Broadhaven you follow the coast path to reach the legendary chapel, a walk that includes some steep steps down to the building. The path is part of the longer Pembrokeshire Coast Path and offers dramatic coastal scenery, making it a memorable winter walk. You can find more detailed information on how to find it here

Bosherston Lily Ponds and Broadhaven South Beach

This circular route offers views across woodlands and lakes, providing some shelter. You can extend the walk to include Barafundle Bay and warm up afterwards at the Stackpole Inn, which has a wood-burning stove. You can find more details of the walk here

Freshwater East to Stackpole Quay and Barafundel Beach

One of our favourite walkes accessed directly from Greenshutters along the coastal path. You can find more details of what to expect here
